The Paws IQ Training Philosophy is Rooted in Dog Psychology….
—the understanding of how dogs naturally think, communicate, and experience the world. Rather than focusing solely on obedience or managing symptoms, we look at the underlying factors driving behavior, including a dog's nervous system, instincts, coping patterns, and relationship with their environment.
Dogs are a reflection of the environment they’re in and the leadership they’re under. We believe behavior is communication, and lasting change comes from providing dogs with the clarity, structure, guidance, and leadership they instinctively seek.
Through calm, consistent communication, spatial awareness, and pressure-and-release principles, we help dogs feel more secure, confident, and balanced while building stronger, more harmonious relationships with their owners.
Important Dog Requirements
All dogs must be up to date on rabies, DHLPP, and bordetella.
Red zone dogs (those that have severely bitten humans or another dog) are not eligible for scholarship spots. If you need help with a redzone dog, please fill out our board-and-train form.
